Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

The story is about a father and son who have a wild adventure to many different places. For example; under the sea, to the jungle, on safari, to the beach, to the snow etc. The father of the baby boy is tall and skinny, with long dreadlocks and dark skin and small nose.

Today, Lids4Kids thrives as a symbol of community resilience, having rescued millions of lids from landfills and making a tangible impact on environmental conservation.

Once upon a time, the sweetest princess was sleeping in her castle when suddenly a dragon flew in and decided to visit her. The princess woke up and saw him. "Who are you? Where am I?" she asked. "I am a dragon, I have kidnapped you," the dragon replied. The princess looked around the castle and said, "Your castle is very beautiful, thank you." The dragon felt embarrassed and offered to become friends. The princess introduced herself as Polina, and they spent a fun time together, playing and entertaining themselves. But suddenly the king arrived with a hundred knights and wanted to put the dragon in a cage. Polina was scared, but she came up with a rescue plan. They ran away and hid in the king's pantry. When the king realized his mistake, he admitted that the dragon and the princess were the best of friends. Now they could see each other every day and spend time together happily and safely.

His mom would make him a delicious breakfast, and he'd just grab it and run off to school, barely saying thank you. His friends would spend hours building an amazing Lego castle, and he'd just barge in and knock it down, not even apologizing. One day, a strange old woman with twinkling eyes appeared in his room. She presented him with a pair of peculiar glasses, "These," she said, "are 'Gratitude Glasses'. They allow you to see the world through the eyes of those who truly appreciate it." Curious, Max put them on. Suddenly, the world transformed! His mom's face, usually a bit tired, now radiated joy as she prepared his breakfast. He saw the effort she put into each pancake, the love she poured into every sprinkle. His friends' eyes sparkled with pride as they meticulously placed each Lego brick, their laughter echoing with genuine happiness. Max felt a strange new emotion – a warmth in his chest. He realized how much happiness he had been missing by not appreciating the kindness and effort of others. He apologized to his friends, helped them rebuild their castle, and even thanked his mom for the delicious breakfast. From that day on, Max wore his "Gratitude Glasses" every day, not literally, but in his mind. He started to notice the small things – the beautiful sunset, the chirping of birds, the kindness of strangers. He learned to appreciate the efforts of others and to express his gratitude. He realized that true happiness wasn't about getting everything he wanted, but about cherishing the kindness and joy that surrounded him.

On a sunny morning, Alex woke up excitedly. And shouted, "Today is I Can Do It Day! Excited," and jumped out of bed. At breakfast, Alex helped his mom set the table. His mom ruffled his hair and said, "You sure did, Alex! You're such a helper.", At preschool, the classroom buzzed with energy. Ms. Maya, their teacher, unfurled a giant banner that said "I Can Do It Day!" in bright colors. "Today," she announced, "we're going to learn all sorts of things we can do by ourselves!" As the day ended, Alex's heart was full. He had built a tall tower, painted a colorful picture, and even carried his own bowl! He learned that with a little effort and a lot of "I can do it" spirit, he could accomplish amazing things. On the way home, Alex held his mom's hand tightly. "Mommy," he said with a big grin, "I can do it!" His mom hugged him close. "Yes, Alex," she said, "you sure can!"
