Grovelyn Gets To Play

Grovelyn woke up with a big smile on her face. Today was the day she was going to the park to play with her best friend Sha-Sha. She quickly got dressed. Then she ate all of the yummy breakfast Mommy made before quickly brushing her teeth. Mommy said, 'Ok its time to go to the park, lets get in the car and buckle up'. When Grovelyn got to the park, Sha-Sha was already there. They hugged each other and started playing on the swings.

After swinging for a while, Grovelyn and Sha-Sha decided to have a tea party. They gathered colorful leaves and flowers to decorate their pretend tea party table. They poured imaginary tea into tiny cups and had a delightful time pretending to sip the tea and munching on their imaginary cookies.

Feeling energetic, Grovelyn suggested they play hide and seek. Sha-Sha closed her eyes and started counting while Grovelyn hid behind a big tree. After finding Grovelyn, it was Sha-Sha's turn to hide. They ran around the park, giggling and having so much fun.

As the sun started to set, Grovelyn and Sha-Sha knew it was time to say goodbye. They promised to meet again soon and hugged each other tightly. Then Grovelyn smiled a great big smile and waved bye to Sha-Sha. On the way home, Grovelyn told Mommy all about her fun time playing with Sha-Sha and how she felt so happy and grateful for such a wonderful day at the park with her best friend.
